On October 11-12, 2018, the 22nd National Welding Conference was held in Dalian. The theme of the conference was “Made in China 2025 and Green Efficient and Intelligent Welding Technology”, attended by more than 500 representatives from all over the country.
The conference was hosted by the Welding Society of China Mechanical Engineering Society and hosted by Dalian University of Technology. The meeting was hosted by He Shi, vice chairman and secretary general of the Welding Society of China Mechanical Engineering Society.
Song Tianhu, Chairman of the Board of Supervisors of the China Society of Mechanical Engineering, and Feng Jicai, Chairman of the Welding Society of the China Society of Mechanical Engineering, delivered speeches respectively.

The paper exchange activities were carried out in six directions of the surfacing and surface engineering sub-sites, welding process and equipment sub-site.
In the submerged welding and surface engineering sub-site, Mr. Dai Shihai, technical manager of our company, gave a report titled “Research and Discussion on Dynamic Development of Surfacing Technology”.
The conference received extensive attention and high participation from welding scholars, professors, welding engineering technicians, and welding professional media in domestic universities and research institutes.

It has established a good platform for the industry scholars to exchange and discuss the development and challenges of welding technology under the new historical conditions.
